We have received pallets and pallets of surplus eco-friendly marmoleum flooring, still in the box. These are true linoleum tiles, like your grandparents might have used in their first kitchen. This means that, unlike vinyl flooring, the tiles are made out of linseed oil and other natural and renewable ingredients. * Won’t off-gas toxic chemicals in your house * very durable and can last for decades * Naturally anti-microbial & anti-static. We received a variety of beautiful colors, too, including charcoal, slate gray, dove blue, a cheerful light yellow, and a nice neutral tan. According to our research, you can sometimes find marmoleum tiles on sale at a Forbo distributor for $3.45 per square foot, but the regular retail price can range as high as $$6.25 per square foot – that would be $16 for each large tile!)

windows surplus & salvage The Community Forklift, the DC area's thrift store for building materials, is selling a large selection of windows, both new/never-installed, and salvaged/reclaimed, aluminum, wood, and vinyl. We have several hundred to choose from, of a various sizes. And the prices are all sharply discounted from retail. We also have a good selection of window hardware, including sash weights and latches.
